The CogLaboration project focuses on the object transfer procedure between a robot and a human, considered to be a key aspect to be addressed in order to provide successful and efficient robotic assistance to humans.
- To develop a set of vision modules able to provide an understanding of the current situation. These modules will provide information characterizing the human partner posture and the object to exchange.
- To realize an advanced robotic hand equipped with innovative compliant fingers providing a level of sensitivity in accordance to the force magnitude observed during the human-human exchange.
- To assemble a robotic arm with human arm-like kinematics able to engage in human-object exchange.
